Measures to Address Energy and Resource Conservation

■Digitalization of internal documents
In addition to conducting paperless meetings on a Company-wide basis, we are working to reduce paper resources by digitalizing routinely prepared documents and documents distributed to employees.

■Introducing a secure printing system
At all of our sites, we have introduced a secure printing system designed to reduce unnecessary printing and enhance security.

■Shifting to LED lighting
With the introduction of LED lighting on all floors, we are working to reduce CO2 emissions by conserving electricity.

■Adopting a flexible dress code
With the exception of meetings with customers and other such circumstances, we have a flexible dress code that lets employees wear casual clothes of their choice in the office, as long as they are appropriate for the time, place and occasion.

Establishment of Paperless Policy

As part of its measures to address the SDGs, the Company is working to effectively use finite resources and reduce its environmental impact, with the goal of realizing a resource recycling society.
We are working to digitalize documents (create electronic documents) (i.e., go paperless), with the goal of proactively implementing remote work, which will simultaneously improve job satisfaction and fulfilment through diverse work styles and the creation of better work environments.

Procurement of Management Resources and 3R Activities

■Purchasing of green products and inventory management
We have introduced a unified purchasing and procurement system for office supplies across the Company. We purchase environmentally friendly green products such as recycled paper and toner.
Ordering and inventory management of office supplies is carried out solely by a designated department. We make every effort to avoid ordering and stockpiling unnecessary office supplies.

■Promoting 3R Activities
At all of our sites, we have introduced a secure printing system designed to reduce unnecessary printing and enhance security. In addition, we participate in environmental protection activities in which confidential documents that have been chemically dissolved are converted into raw materials for recycled paper.

■Participating in Eco-Cap Activities
By participating in Eco-Cap Activities, we are helping to reduce CO2 emissions and provide vaccines to children.
